Chicken Stuffed Buns
These Chicken Stuffed Buns make snacking delightful, These buns have never lasted long in our home.
For the dough
600 g. all-purpose flour (sifted)
1.5 tbsp. yeast
300 g. warm water
1 tsp. sugar
Salt and turmeric powder
90 g. oil
For the filling
300 g. chickens (chopped)
Salt, turmeric powder, red pepper and chicken spices
7-8 mushrooms (diced)
1 bell pepper (diced)
3 tbsp. Lemon juice
Serves 4 people

Cook time 1.5 h
Mix warm water, yeast and sugar together. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Mix flour, salt and turmeric. Add yeast mixture and oil. Knead by hand until smooth. Sprinkle oil in the bowl and Shape dough into a ball. Cover and let rest for 1 hour in a warm place until doubled.
Heat oil in a pan and add the chicken.
After about 4 minutes, add mushrooms slices and lemon juice. Let sauté for 5 minutes.
Add salt, pepper, turmeric and chicken spices. Add bell pepper.
Reduce heat to low, cover with lid and let cook for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven on 350 ‘F/180’C.
On a clean kitchen countertop, grease surface well (or flour). Using a rolling pin, open the dough to a thickness of 2 mm.
Cut dough with a round mold 10 cm.
Fill each piece with mozzarella cheese and one tablespoon the chicken mixture and seal them by hands.
